Consultant Psychiatrist - Melbourne

Consultant Psychiatrist job in Melbourne: A Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in learning disabilities is needed in an award-winning mental health program under the auspice of two of Melbourne’s premier health services.

The successful doctor will provide a high standard of clinical assessment, management and support to patients referred to the service who have a known or suspected dual disability and participate and contribute to the training and service development activities of the organisation.

Requirements

To apply for this position you must:

• hold FRANZCP or a Certificate of Completion of Training (UK) or equivalent
• be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• have experience and/or qualifications in Psychiatry of Learning Disability

Unless you are a native English speaker you must also meet the English language proficiency requirements.

Greater than five years’ experience at consultant level is desirable, but not essential.
