We are seeking expressions of interest for a consultant physician position with endocrinology and diabetes experience in regional Victoria. ICU experience is desirable, but not essential. Key responsibilities of the role will include initiating and being responsible for the clinical care of medical patients in inpatient and emergency departments and other hospital setting, arranging patient management and consulting with other health service staff with respect to patient management and related issues. The role will also involve a teaching element.
The preferred candidate should have substantial and proven experience as a general physician in a community practice and a hospital-based setting.
